Marley's ideal home

Marley is a fabulous little guy who has found coming into kennels a little overwhelming. He's slowly coming out of his shell and he absolutely LOVES to play with toys, especially a ball! Marley has lived in a home for all of his life where he was housetrained. He has never been used to being left home alone, so we recommend this is build up gradually once he's settled into his forever home. A typical spaniel, Marley loves to be out sniffing, exploring and enjoying his walkies but he can find loud noises a little scary. For this reason he would like a peaceful home with access to quiet walks. Marley could live with another dog in his forever home, however he prefers calmer doggy friends. He could live with older sensible children of 14+ who can understand his worried side and give him any time and space he might need. Marley is an active and busy boy so would love an active family that can keep him busy.

Marley is a sweet boy and would benefit from owners with a keen interest in training and who are able to commit to visiting him a few times. He loves his bed and comfy spots and doesn't like to be disturbed so would like his own safe space where he can relax and snooze.

Springer Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Springer Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
