Nine-year-old Marley is a sweet, quiet boy who loves to relax and have fun in equal measures. He’s a friendly boy with his people pals but can be unsure of strangers initially and likes to keep his distance until a bond has been built. However, he’s the most endearing chap once you’ve made friends! Marley has some sensitivity around handling, especially when it involves his feet or when being touched while resting. He will need to wear a muzzle during vet visits and grooming, as a precaution, to keep everyone comfortable and safe. He also prefers a peaceful environment, particularly when snoozing, and would appreciate a quiet corner where he won’t be disturbed by foot traffic. Due to all these sensitivities, Marley is seeking an adult-only home, but he could have visiting older-teens who are respectful of his space. When it comes to meeting other dogs at the centre, Marley has been polite, calm and friendly natured. He could possibly live with a well-suited dog, if they matched his gentle, quiet energy. However, he is unsuitable to live with any other animal species.

Despite his calm demeanour, Marley has a playful and inquisitive nature and enjoys playing with his toys, as well as short, gentle walks. He would suit a home where he can enjoy relaxed strolls in quiet areas, with plenty of opportunities for sniffing and discovering new scents.
