Monty's ideal home

Monty is an energetic boy who needs a quiet home with a secure garden so he has lots of space for off-lead play. He’s a friendly lad but does like an introduction to new people. Monty can also guard food, and although he’s done fabulously with his training this will need to be continued in the home. For these reasons he is looking for an adult-only home with no visiting children. However, with a dedicated space where he can be undisturbed for eating and sleep he does really well. Monty really enjoys spending time with dogs but will need to be the only pet in the home. Doggy friends for walks would be welcomed though.

Monty is 2 years old and would love to get back into a home soon. He is fully housetrained in the home, quite happily jumps in the car and is good for travel and can be left for a couple of hours. Monty is a very affectionate and tactile lad once he knows you, and just needs owners that will understand and work with him. He’s super intelligent and really enjoys physical and mental enrichment activities.

Springer Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Springer Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
