Description

Peppa's ideal home

Peppa is a gorgeous female 3 year old Springer Spaniel. She is full of energy and is looking for a quiet rural home where she will not need to be road walked at all. Peppa will need to be the only animal in her new home and have her own secure private garden where she can relax and play. Being a fearful girl, Peppa needs an adult only home environment, with no visiting children. Peppa is suited to patient adopters who will allow her to settle in her own time and not rush her training. Adopters who are able to visit the centre multiple times to build a bond with her before she goes home are essential. A quiet home with few visitors and easy access to walks with a low population of other dogs will suit Peppa well, she likes to enjoy her walks on a longline so she can sniff around freely and can become worried being walked on a shorter lead. Having been returned to our care previously, Peppa is looking for dedicated adopters who can work with her gradually through her fears and in return she will reward you with her affectionate nature, she loves to snuggle up to her favourite humans.

Could you be Peppa's perfect match?

Peppa is a sweet girl who has a shy character and is looking for patient new adopters, who are happy to work at Peppa’s pace to help build up her confidence. She will benefit from reward based training and in return will give her new family lots of Spaniel cuddles. Peppa’s favourite thing is food and she loves a good chew to keep her busy. She will be a perfect match for someone who has a quiet home environment and lots of time to give Peppa the support she needs. Due to Peppa's anxieties she will need the support of lifelong behavioural medication, this will be discussed in more by our training team at the centre.

Springer Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Springer Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
