Alfie

Alfie's ideal home

Alfie is a sensitive lad and looking for a patient household where they can allow him to settle in at his own pace. The right environment is key for Alfie to thrive. His ideal pad is a quieter home without children, 1 or 2 adults present throughout the day to keep him company and with minimal visitors. This is due to needing careful management around household items that he can perceive to be his and needing his adults to understand his body language. New owners will be invited to meet Alfie at the centre a few times before heading home to give him chance to make friends. The training team will discuss his training/management plans during these visits and will be on hand for support . Alfie was initially very worried about cars and them passing by so it would be ideal for him to have easy access to quieter walking routes (in rural setting would make his day!) that are close to the home so he can enjoy a peaceful walk. Walks will need to be on the lead so a home with a garden is essential. Here he can have his own private space for zooming and playing in. Alfie is dog social and has potential to live with another pending a successful meet. This isn't essential though, and he would be happy with one or two walking pals who don't mind him having his giddy moments.

Could you be Alfie's perfect match?

Alfie is fabulous, active lad who is eager to carry on his training with his family. He's always on the go and would like his new owners to be able to keep up with him and also provide mental enrichment to keep his mind active and happy too. Alfie is really into his toys and incorporating these into some fun games will be a great way to spend the days. He's come on leaps and bounds with his training and shown that he is a star pupil with his positive reward based training. For someone who can give Alfie the time he first needs to settle in and find his paws, will soon see how amazing this boy really is!
